This Is Our Beauty Editor's Fave Morning Serum Right Now

My nighttime routine is extensive, but you may be surprised to learn that my morning routine only includes 4 products (yes, I know that may seem like a lot to some of you, but to me it's minimalist).
I cleanse my face, apply my AM serum, apply my sunscreen and finish with my lash serum. Usually, I'd mix up which serum I used in the morning (always a Vitamin C or antioxidant of some kind), but for the last 2 months I've used the same serum every single day, which is basically unheard of for me.
The serum that's become a staple in my morning routine is *drum roll please*... Estée Lauder's Perfectionist Pro Rapid Brightening Treatment.
What's So Good About This Brightening Treatment?
Well, as the name of the product suggests, this serum is designed to help you reach your glowy skin goals.
To namedrop the podcast for the second time, you may have heard us rave about Estée Lauder's Perfectionist Pro range before (namely the Instant Resurfacing Peel which I'm bloody obsessed with). This collection of products is Estée Lauder's answer to cosmeceuticals, and one that I'm fully on board with - if you don't believe me, just read the reviews of the peel.
This new serum, the Rapid Brightening Treatment, has only just become available - but because I'm a bougie b*tch, I got my hands on one a couple of months ago to trial.
Firstly, what I liked about the serum was the texture. It's light as air, glides onto the skin and absorbs quickly. It doesn't cause other products to pill on the skin, and it smells nice too. It's most suited to those with pigmentation and dullness concerns, but on my skin, it had a brightening and radiance-boosting effect.

What's In It?
One of the reasons I think I've been enjoying this serum so much is because of the ingredients list. It was the first thing I perused before I slathered the serum onto my face.
Most notably, this serum contains a stabilised form of Vitamin C which works to brighten the skin, reduce the appearance of dark spots and prevent future damage to the skin with its antioxidant properties.
The formula also contains a patented ferment complex (Molasses and Yeast) to improve cell turnover and ingredient penetration and promote clarity. But that's not all - the formula also boasts Caffeine (revitalising), Hyaluronic Acid (hydrating) and Algae Extract (antioxidant-rich).
