I Can't Get Enough Of This Korean Moisturiser
If you know me, then you know that I'm obsessed with everything from Korea to Japan, and basically everything kawaii (かわいい, pronounced [kaɰaiꜜi]; "lovable", "cute", or "adorable"). So it probably comes as no surprise that Innisfree's Cherry Blossom Tone Up Cream is currently my favourite face cream - don't even get me started on the packaging.
What Is A Tone-Up Cream?
K-Beauty covers a wide range of (sometimes quite strange) products, but in this instance, a "tone-up cream" is actually pretty straight forward. According to Ben Neiley from The Klog, these creams are designed to clarify your skin tone.
"Tone-up products are specifically made to balance and brighten skin tone as well as fight hyperpigmentation and discolouration. If you’re looking for products that brighten and even out skin tone, you should make sure to keep this term in mind for future products."
Now that we've clarified that (pun intended), let's get into exactly why I'm loving this face cream.

I often use the ICONIC London Illuminator under my foundation when I want to shine to the gods, but the Cherry Blossom Tone Up Cream is a stellar alternative to add a subtle, yet noticeable radiance to an everyday look if an illuminator is too hardcore for you.
I'm also a sucker for penny-pinching and products that are multi-use, so $36 for this Innisfree Cherry Blossom Tone Up Cream is a damn dream (plus, it's the most popular in their brightening range).

What's In It?
Apart from the obvious inclusion of Jeju Cherry Blossom leaf extract, which helps to brighten the complexion and provide environmental protection, this moisturiser also contains one of my fave ingredients - niacinamide.
Niacinamide works to help visibly improve enlarged pores, uneven skin tone, fine lines and wrinkles and dullness so this is an amazing all rounder product for anybody looking for a glow up! This formula also contains Vitamin E to protect the skin from environmental damage, and naturally-derived Betaine to help prevent moisture loss.
So, if you want to look radiant and need that extra hydration your skin is screaming out for, but you're scared of heavy, thick creams, Innisfree's Cherry Blossom Tone Up Cream could be for you.
