The Little-Known Eye Gel Making A Big Impression

I recently had a skin scan with a very fancy schmancy machine (the things you do when you work in beauty) and it revealed that 90% of the fine lines around my eyes are actually caused by dehydration.
Hallelujah! I finally had some sort of answer as to why my under-eyes were causing me grief, while the rest of my skin seemed to be improving with my rigorous skincare routine. So how exactly am I meant to improve this dehydration, you ask?

Well, as a result of my scan, it was suggested that I start using an eye gel instead of a cream (easy) and also drink a tonne more water (not so easy). So, while I work hard on upping my water intake from 800ml to 3 litres, I’m going to tell you about my fave new eye gel - which I bet you haven't heard of.
It's Beauté Pacifique's Puffy Eye Gel, which already sounds very promising. Beauté Pacifique is a Danish cosmeceutical skincare brand that until recently was only available in bougie skin clinics.
Mamamia's Leigh Campbell raves about the brand, and whilst she says the packaging is “hideous” - which I tend to agree with - don’t judge this book by its cover. Their scientifically-proven formulations became a clinic sensation for a reason.
Now To My Verdict:
The first time I tried Beauté Pacifique's Puffy Eye Gel, I noticed an instant result. Yes, instant. After an initial tingly feeling, you’ll notice a visible de-puffing and tightening (well, at least I did). I patted a small amount around one eye and could already see the tightening take effect after a few minutes.
In fact, I even tested our Beauty Editor by asking her which eye I had the product on, and it only took her a second to pick correctly, so I can confirm it's visibly noticeable.
What You Need To Know:
The name “Puffy Eyes” doesn’t quite sum up all of the benefits of this multi-tasking eye gel. It contains multiple actives that target a range of different eye concerns, from firming to reducing puffiness to soothing redness and targeting fine lines.
- The firming action comes from the newly discovered extract, Spilanthes Acmella Flower
- This unique extract, paired with a patented delivery system acts like a spider web
- Caffeine improves circulation to further reduce puffiness around the eyes
- Sodium Ursolate & Oleanoate work together to repair aged and sun damaged skin
- Chamomile extract soothes and calms redness
